Requirements
Ensure your server meets these requirements before installing Simuzo.
Operating Systems
Simuzo supports 64-bit versions of the following Linux distributions:
- Ubuntu: 20.04 LTS, 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS
- Debian: 10, 11, 12
- CentOS: 8, 9 (Stream)
- AlmaLinux: 8, 9
- Rocky Linux: 8, 9
Supported Control Panels
Simuzo requires one of the following control panels to be pre-installed:
- Webuzo (Full Support)
- cPanel (Full Support)
- DirectAdmin (Full Support)
- Plesk (Full Support)
- InterWorx (Full Support)
Hardware Requirements

Software Requirements
- Kernel: Linux kernel 4.18 or higher is required for cGroups v2 support.
- File System: Ext4 or XFS with
usrquotaandgrpquotaenabled.
cGroups v2 Detection:
Simuzo relies on cGroups v2 for resource throttling. If you are on cGroups v1 you can enable cGroups v2 after installing Simuzo simuzo --enable-cgroups-v2.
Network Requirements
Outbound HTTPS (Port 443) access to the following domains is required for installation, licensing, and updates:
*.simuzo.com*.softaculous.com
